700C Carbon CX / Gravel wheelsets
38mm deep 22mm internal width asymmetric carbon rims on your choice of Bitex or Hope Pro5 centrelock hubs with 28 bladed Sapim CX Ray spokes per wheel.
Deeper rims available at special request but we believe 38mm is the sweetspot for looks, aero and bump compliance.

Hope Pro5 CL hubs: 1575g
Bitex CL hubs: 1540g
Rims are constructed from unidirectional Toray T700 carbon and have a hookless bead inner profile. They are asymmetric to give closer to equal spoke tensions on each side of the wheel for an even stiffer, stronger wheel.
One way to save further weight would be to use alloy nipples rather than brass and most lightweight wheels take advantage of this easy option at the detriment to wheel strength, serviceability and longevity. All of our wheels use brass nipples to prevent seizing a few years down the line. When we build a set of wheels we intend them to last for decades rather than merely years. However, if you are desperate to save 35g, please ask us about alloy nipples
Until you have ridden with carbon wheels you cannot appreciate the huge advantages in handing and ride quality they offer. Stiffer rims improves steering accuracy, tracking and speed while the vibration absorbing properties of carbon smooth out your ride and your bike will ride noticeably quieter.
